Welcome to Music Lessons by Amanda McGehee!
I'm very excited to announce that I am accepting new students in the Louisville, Kentucky area.
I teach beginning through advanced piano, voice, tin whistle, and clarinet. I can also teach beginning acoustic guitar and ukulele. If I don't teach the instrument you want to learn, please let me know. I know several fantastic music teachers in the Louisville area.
I received my Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Music Education from the Swinney Conservatory of Music at Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri. My degrees includes an emphasis on Vocal Music Education and endorsements in keyboard instruments (piano, organ, harpsichord) and Instrumental Music Education (band and orchestra). I have been teaching private lessons since 1996, and am currently employed at the Oldham County Schools Arts Center (OCSAC) in Crestwood, Kentucky. I am available to private lessons at the arts center Monday through Friday. If you are interested in taking lessons, please visit the OCSAC website below.
I work very hard to make sure that my students have fun exploring several genres of music. My goal is to help my students enjoy making music.
You don't have to be famous to enjoy being a musician!
To sign up for lessons at the Oldham County Schools Arts Center, please contact them directly by calling 502-241-6018 or visit their website.
